Primary responsibilities:
- Creating and maintaining quality standards in production lines; develop, implement and maintain quality documentation (quality procedures, reports, among others).
- Responsible for continuous improvement in processes to enhance product performance and quality controls.
- Work with cross-functional teams to generate solutions that ensure good quality products.
- Conduct audits, create audits finding reports and determine proper corrective and preventive actions.
- Root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for processes or parts.
- Analyze customer warranty returns and implement corrective and preventive plans/actions.
- Preparation of quality assurance reports.
- Conduct product audits, quality inspection checklists, AMEF, 8D reports and product releases.
- In charge of additional cost before and after delivery (Scrap).
- Responsible for production PPM's control.
- 5S and kaizen team promoter.
- Among other reasonable duties.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
- Degree Field(s): Quality, mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering.
- Key Skills: Problem solving, leadership, organized, responsible, customer and result oriented, and communications skills; knowledge of quality tools and procedures (desired)
- Previous experience in a production/manufacturing environment; quality role desired (Internships are welcome)
- Must be able to analyze statistical data and decision making.
- Able to show a good practical use of measuring equipment and method.
- Excellent computer skills in word, excel, outlook, PowerPoint; SAP (desired)
- Strong organizational and verbal skills
- Excellent in teamwork
