We currently have a vacancy for a Tester fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the testers team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.
Tasks:
- Advice on test automation strategy and identification of regression tests including maintenance of test script repositories for updates to existing software;
- Development of the test automation framework and its continuous maintenance in terms of new functionalities and consistent test datasets;
- Provision of quality plans and service level agreements;
- IS Quality control and evaluation;
- Assistance in the implementation of IS security policies;
- Identify and elaborate test cases in collaboration with application developers, analysts and business representatives and support to the construction of test scenarios and scripts;
- Assistance in tests case and test scenario execution on different platforms and browsers of the integrated systems, including defect creation and defect follow-up;
- Identification of project and product risks from the quality control perspective.
Requirements
- Minimum 14 years of combined relevant university studies and experience in the IT sector;
- Minimum 11 years of experience in IS quality assurance and quality control practices;
- Strong experience in ORACLE SQL script writing and JAVA/J2EE scripting, namely in the context of application test automation;
- Excellent knowledge of test automation strategies and test automation tools (RFT, Selenium, WebDriver, SOAPUI;
- Good knowledge of CMMI, RTC, RFT;
- Certification in ISTQB would be considered an asset;
- Excellent command of English, both written and oral;
- Ability to integrate in an international environment and to cooperate well in a team.
